GOD'S ANSWER

 Christ alone fulfilled

all requirements of obedience

and obtained on our behalf

every promise

God ever made to His own.

Praise His name!

HEAD AND HEART

Both are needed.

It is important

to read the Word

and feed our minds

with truth

and sound doctrine.

But we also need

the ministry of the Holy Spirit,

for He alone can take the Word

and penetrate our hearts with it,

bring it to life in us,

and make it burn in us

as He reveals and illuminates

Christ Himself

to our innermost being.

1 Cor. 2:9-13

1 John 2:27

SEEING CHRIST

Never be satisfied

with a dim

revelation of Christ,

or a mere

intellectual grasp

of Him.

Ask the Father

for Holy Spirit enlightenment

continually

as you read His Word

(Eph 1:17-18).

Seeing Christ is the secret

to all of life.

BELIEVING FREE

Many of us believers

have areas of our lives

where we are

not free.

Something from our past

controls us,

 Beloved,

there is always a LIE

behind every oppression,

a lie that we are BELIEVING.

Ask the Holy Spirit

to expose the lie,

and let Him replace it

with the truth;

He will unlock your past

and set you free.

John 8:32

RELIGIOUS LIES

Meditate in the book of Romans

and know what Christ

has done with your sin.

Watch your trust in Him

begin to GROW.

A MIGHTY FORTRESS

A MIGHTY FORTRESS IS OUR GOD.

The words of this ancient hymn

mean more now to me than ever.

(There are more verses if you care to look it up.)

It is said that this hymn

was sung by many an oppressed Christian

forced into exile or facing martyrdom.

Believer, be encouraged

by the REIGN of OUR MIGHTY GOD.

NEW AND LIVING WAY

EVERY promise,

EVERY blessing,

and EVERY gift of God

is wrapped up in this ONE GIFT,

the Holy Spirit.

Acknowledge

and trust Him daily

for power

to love and obey,

to overcome sin,

to pray the will of God,

to discern truth from error,

and to know and understand

the things of God.

LITTLE ONES TO HIM BELONG

RUFFLED

Easy to get ruffled

by the culture we live in.

But as Christ suffered for us,

we are called to share in the suffering

of our rejected Savior

until He returns exalted as King.

He alone is worthy.

PULLING DOWN STRONGHOLDS

We must renew our minds.

Be intentional

every day

about believing and speaking

the truth

of who you are,

and grow in strength

and confidence

and freedom,

and bring Christ glory.

LOVED IS BETTER :)

GREATER THAN FEAR

Fear is overcome

by the only power that is greater:

the love of God.

 It involves KNOWING and BELIEVING

His love FOR YOU.

KNOW His love by revelation and experience.

BELIEVE His love by fully embracing it,

relying on it,

and resting in it.

This is the truth

that sets us free

 from fear.

John 8:32

1 John 4:16, 18

WATCH WHAT HAPPENS

 Only God's Spirit of love,

which we have been given,

can set hearts free from fear

and everything

that keeps them

from being whole

and able to love in return

(2 Timothy 1:7)

FIRST, IT HURTS

Once truth

enters our heart

it can do its work

of healing

and freeing

and making us whole.

Both the wounding

and the healing

are gifts

and works

of God's grace.

SIN'S ANTIDOTE

And how do we desire Christ?

Meditate on Who He is

and what He has done

until it ignites a passion

in our hearts for Him.

Only the Gospel

has the power

to transform our hearts

like this.
