LOVED IS BETTER :)

GREATER THAN FEAR

Fear is overcome

by the only power that is greater:

the love of God.

 It involves KNOWING and BELIEVING 

His love FOR YOU.

KNOW His love by revelation and experience.

BELIEVE His love by fully embracing it,

relying on it,

and resting in it.

This is the truth

that sets us free

 from fear.

John 8:32

1 John 4:16, 18

 

WATCH WHAT HAPPENS

 Only God's Spirit of love,

which we have been given,

can set hearts free from fear 

and everything

that keeps them

from being whole

and able to love in return

(2 Timothy 1:7)

FIRST, IT HURTS

Once truth

enters our heart

it can do its work

of healing

and freeing

and making us whole. 

Both the wounding

and the healing

are gifts 

and works 

of God's grace.

And how do we desire Christ?

Meditate on Who He is

and what He has done

until it ignites a passion

in our hearts for Him.

Only the Gospel

has the power

to transform our hearts

like this.

DOES IT REALLY MATTER...?

Getting to know and rely on

the love of our Father (1 John 4:16)

is meant to eliminate

E-N-D-L-E-S-S 

S-T-R-I-V-I-N-G

to be accepted and approved

by people.

It is meant to free us

from dependence on

the good opinions

of others

so we can love them

as we are loved by God.
